Your cart is empty.The 3/4" wide, 16" long, box scraper with a 10" ash handle has a special cutting profile that makes it ideal for cutting the parallel side walls of end grain boxes. The small radius point at the bottom corner of the scraper creates a smooth transition from a side wall to a flat bottom.

I did dislike the price but really liked the looks of the tool,its used on a wood lathe to cut the inside of a lidded box,normally used as a scraper.

Not sure how to sharpen this but it works great. I have a couple of scrapers for bowls that provide a smooth curve but I was looking for a straight side to a flat bottom. This does exactly that. Sharp and clean.

I was hoping I could use it on the outside of turnings but it's ground so it only works on the inside of a bowl. Limits its value to me.
