Your cart is empty.The full-sized Sorby Hollow Master features a flat bottom for increased stability and control during your woodturning projects. The 1/4" wide HSS cutter can be swiveled to allow the cutter to reach otherwise inaccessible areas inside hollow forms. The included 1" round scraper cutter can be mounted in place of the hollowing cutter for final inside smoothing. Overall length is approximately 24", maximum reach of approximately 8".

This is a great tool and has worked very well. I am glad that I got the full sized. It is nice to have a beefier handle to balance the force that the turning bowl places on the tool.

Takes a little getting used to. A turner I know with a lot more experience than I do gave up on it but I got the hang of it and use it a lot. Important to keep the bits sharp. Makes the difference between working well or not at all.

Larger than expected but well made and does the job. The shaft has a flat base to resist twisting.

This is another quality built tool from Sorby. The flat bottomed shank keeps the tool aligned correctly so all one has to worry about is controlling the depth of cut.Shipped fast and was packaged well. I would purchase this again.
