Shipping was fast and product was as described. I didn’t expect much for the price, but the quality is good for the price. The only metal in the reel is the crank handle, the mount and the string guide bar. I’m not sure how it will handle fishing over time, but so far it’s been a good combo. The fishing rod is a light-medium weight 8ft. Good quality, I just wish the rod grip was longer, it’s hard to fight the fish with such a short handle. I think for the size of the reel the rod is not heavy enough and it’s a two piece rod also, so I worry about its ability to handle some deep water fish. So far so good, but I will probably put this reel on a better rod before it’s all over. I would suggest to others as great start combo

This thing is junk. The eyes are already falling off. The reel is just a Chinese piece of trash. Better serves as a brick. Returning asap.

You get what you pay for reel feels like hard plastic .... pole feels cheep I should of paid a few dollars more and got a better pole.
