It appears to be a known issue as it is listed in the self help section when you go to return it.They tell you to unplug iut and let it cool off. OMG that's crazy, it's meant to run 24/7.I'm trying a replacement but have little hope at this time. This looks like a trash reject product.

Mine has been rock solid reliable. Some issues with Reolink cameras (100% Reolink's fault). Running 16 cameras, records flawlessly. I don't use the POE ports, but pull my video feed off my IP cams.

Product did not work. Only would find 3 of my 8 cameras. Even when I specified the IP adresses and port #. Then it would only record 2 cameras. Product manuel was very confusing and of little help. Tried to use Edge browser for setup to the device. Seemed to only work fair in Internet Explorer mode. But not great. It would willy nilly change settings. Some way it changed the IP address of the 2 cameras it did find. Do not know how that happened. They were working when went to bed. In morning Camera IP addresses had changed. Ports were okay.Anyway, I returned the product and would not recommend.

So first of all when you get the things that work the picture quality is not that bad but it keeps dropping IP cameras saying system offline and network disconnected and network error when I tried to update the firmware it kept telling me no network present even though internet and network was fine. Extremely hard to assign IP cameras from Poe network switch.zero tech support or any ability to even search the brand model number of NVR .I have spent countless hours trying to configure this device and have many years experience installing DVR systems before nvrs days. I can pull the cameras up directly from the browser no problems. NVR reboots every time I try to save a configuration it sees the cameras but when I tell it to at all they never actually gives me a green arrow stating onlinecrashing and rebooting main NVR system

I fired it up and I have recently been trying various inexpensive dome cameras with my Reolink security NVR box. The Reolink cameras always work fine, all the others it refuses to load up and show the video even if it detects they are on the network. This low cost NVR has worked with all the dome cameras so far just on the network, and it works with my wifi pet cam that is also on the wired network. It's not as polished on it's interface but it seems that you can get it to work with most any camera and most seem to show full resolution that the camera is outputting. It does not come with a SATA drive but I have one from my previous analog HD security DVR and it fired right up in the new box so that's another way they keep costs down, you supply your own drive. The box isn't as well laid out as my Reolink and the software isn't as easy to use and polished but if you want to be able to use MOST POE ONVIF cameras and even control the PTZ function that some have this is a great box for the money.
