As in the title: you need this on the NDS bearing as it is a smidge smaller on GXP. I've found shimano BBs are longer lasting anyway in comparison.You will have a knock otherwise because of the looser tolerance.

This adapter did the trick on the 22/24mm stepped spindle to allow a standard BSA bottom bracket to work on this setup
