The pipes where a bit further apart then original. Had to file heater box a bit to get to fit. This is common with the aftermarket heater core. Other then that it fit well and works as it should

Purchased this core for my 1966 Ford Mustang I6, 200. Everything is original equipment. Recently my heater cores suffered a massive leak, so I was forced to replace. Although this heater core is comparable in size, this unit will not fit in the factory heater box. The outlet tubes are spaced further a part, and are closer to one side. The heater box would have to be modified to use this core. The core itself seemed very cheap, and I doubt it would have the same performance as the bronze one it was replacing. Highly recommending finding an original bronze one to rebuild, or something other than this junk. A solid one star from me. On a side note, I went and purchased one at Napa the day after returning this. Napa gave me the exact same one.

It is slightly smaller than the original brass core, the outlets are a little closer together. I used a Dremel to remove a bit of material on the heater box and it fits nice. It works great so far I took a ride in 30 deg day and I was very warm.

I bought this to make a heater for my UTV, to keep warm while plowing snow. I haven't gotten it totally installed yet but, the unit is fairly small and extremely well built. I will add on to this after I see what kind of heat it puts out.

I purchased 2 of these to use as radiators for a project of mine. I put a CBR600f4i engine in my four wheeler, and rigged these up as the 2 radiators on the front of the four wheeler. So far they seem to be keeping the engine plenty cool! These don't have radiator caps, so if you're going to use them for a project like i did, make sure that you get a radiator coolant reservoir that has a pressurized cap, and keep the reservoir above the top of the engine, so gravity will keep the coolant in the engine.
