I installed this in my 1995 Toyota T100, manual transmission.It was a good bit longer than the original part but I tried to install it anyway. The grommet does not fit in the hole through the firewall.When it was working the speedometer was a bit shaky and it didn't seem like it was spinning smoothly.I did my best to prevent kinks in the cable due to extra length, but after 80 miles the cable failed and now doesn't transmit enough power to turn the speedometer.I found one website that says the manual transmission version requires part 83710-34080, not 83710-34090, so maybe this is my fault. It appeared to be compatible based on my vehicle info so maybe it's Amazon's problem, I don't know. I can't find anyone selling that part number, but anyway I didn't discover the problem until now. Anyway, be careful and make sure this is what you need.
