It's a good idea but they messed up the execution. For the price, it's disappointing. The first problem is the corners of the parts that show where the tire would be have a very small radius. It does not represent most tire profiles at all, so it doesn't really show you how a tire that size will fit and what clearance it would have. They need to make that corner adjustable so you can change that radius without having to grind the corner. If they Added some plastic or even metal pieces that show a few different typical tire profiles, (Where the tread meets the sidewalk) this tool would be SUBSTANTIALLY more useful.Second problem is this thing develops surface rust so fast! Spray something on it as soon as you get it. Not the end of the world but it pissed me off that I spent this much to get a tool that doesn't show me what I need to know. The tool has 1 job and it doesn't do it very well. Then on top of that, I see it starts to look like crap. I didn't leave it out in the rain. It sprouted surface rust all over while it was sitting on a shelf in the shop.I shouldn't have to modify the damn thing so much to make it useful.Based on my experience, 3 starts is probably still too generous.
