The bow is decent. The handle on the crank bent. It’s a flat steel handle, and it bent and reels all wobbly now. The bow shoots nicely, and the rubber block for the strings is really helpful. Comes with three arrows and three packs of nock hardware. The arrows can be reused. They don’t use a normal barb, it’s a steel pin bent thru the tip. It doesn’t pull out, has to push thru. This uses an empty gatorade bottle to hold the string. It works fine. Aside from the reel, this is a decent fishing bow. At least the reel is easily replaced. The line is heavy enough to pull it in by hand, the reel is more like a fly reel and holds the line. Good price for a basic compound fishing bow kit. I don’t like the reel, but that’s the most replaceable part.

This bow is decent but has flaws. Finger grips are upside down, the peep sight is too high, full max draw length 27" not what it's listed as, the reel is cheaply made.. screws don't hold have to consistently tighten, the string constantly bounds up inside the reel, plastic parts can't fight fish only by hand as reel will snap.

I am an absolute beginner to bowhunting/bowfishing and have never used a compound bow. I had always heard they are easy to use and take all of the skill out of using a bow. Perhaps that's true eventually, but there is still a degree of skill that is required to be able to use this bow effectively. Up to this point, I had only ever used a recurve bow, and that was a long time ago. I always thought compound bows looked really cool and wanted to try one. But now that I have this one, I just can't seem to get consistent results. The bow feels ok, though some of the components are of questionable quality (I guess that's not surprising considering the price). So I'll fire an arrow using the aiming pins, and half the time it will land nowhere near where I am aiming. That's probably my fault, but this bow was advertised as for "bow fishing beginners."I think, before you step into something like this, you would be well advised to get someone experienced to guide you, or at the very least, watch a few YouTube videos to figure out things ahead of time. Overall, this doesn't seem like a bad product, but I couldn't make it work consistently.
