This is a great way to keep your memory foam mattress firm.We actually have a king size mattress and used the 2 twins underneath it and they work great. And the twin set is less than half the price of a king bunkie board.

If you are expecting a solid wood support for your mattress you will be disappointed. I would not recommend this as the only foundation for a mattress since it does not seem sturdy enough for that. I have a platform bed with slats, so I bought this for 2 purposes: 1) To raise the mattress up an additional 1.5". 2) To have a flat surface under the mattress. It was difficult to keep sheets tucked in with just slats underneath, so this upholstered board accomplished that. For the limited aforementioned purposes, I would recommend this bunkie board.

Came on the 26. Earlier than expected. I was planning on sending them back as the reviews were horrible! I don’t want cardboard and to my surprise it’s all wood! Sturdy, holding my 15” gel mattress that’s very heavy, no creak or, sliding around. I toss and turn all night, I have sciatica and insomnia, so far holding up to what I give it! I think it’s made my new bed a bit more harder, and that’s what I love! I honestly recommend them. Don’t read the other messages because they are a little deceitful. I pulled one corner of the covering back and saw no cardboard at all.

When we bought bunk beds for our twin boys I was not aware of the importance of a bunkie board but within the first day that became apparent. I was shocked at some of the prices but found this one and since it comes with two it seemed affordable. They work great and fit perfect. They’re lightweight enough to easily carry to the bed but sturdy enough for my husband and I to sit on the bed with no problem.

Arrived days ahead of the promised day! Right out of the box,the boards had a slight odor which disappeared after leaving them outside for a day. The measurements advertised were spot-on, and they fit the bed frames perfectly. Both kids said it felt a bit weird to be lower (we removed the ancient box springs) but they both have slept just fine the 1st few nights! Next step to building their "perfect beds: shopping for new mattresses!

We bought this for our full bed and it is absolutely amazing. Our bedframe didn’t come with the best foundation for our mattress. So our mattress kept sinking and of course causing us to have back pain. This bunkie board was the answer to our prayers! No more sinking mattress and no more back pain. Such a great purchase. I hope it lasts for a long time!

I wasn't sure because of the mixed reviews, but I wanted to try this product as a solution to a cheap bed I recently bought along with a mattress that I also have not been happy with. The rungs of the bed were far apart and were not giving my not great mattress enough support but I did not want to have to get a boxspring. These bunkie boards did the trick. Mattress feels MUCH more stable, even, and more firm. Plus (!!!) my bed stopped squeaking, something I had not expected to be solved with this product.

I don't want anyone to have to go through the hassle of ordering this, unpacking it, and then repacking it and preparing it for return, if they don't have to.I read the reviews on this, and I figured that the people that said this was cardboard junk were just referring to cardboard that was between plywood and fabric, but NO. It really is primarily cardboard. There is no solid plywood. It has a frame of super thin wood widely spaced slats underneath the cardboard, that will create and/or exacerbate the very reason people buy bunkie boards in the first place--to stop mattress divots and sagging. I couldn't believe it when I laid it out on the bed frame. Just feel it, and you'll be angrily re-boxing it within a minute.Furthermore, the queen is two separate pieces, which I understood when buying, but they are completely unconnected and there is no mechanism to connect them!! Can you imagine?This goes beyond cheap. This borders fraud. I have to say I'm highly skeptical whether any of the good reviews are legitimate.
