I like the idea of the part coming with grease fitting, four deck bolts and blade bolt as well. MTDs are very easy to take apart, Some without even taking the deck off, but I do it because it gives me a chance to scrape all the old grass and clumps of dirt. Very easy to install and put the deck back up.

Came with new bolts to mount. Tip for those with 30” riding mowers, this can be replaced without removing deck. Video shows mower can rest on steering column on a chair. Then with deck at lowest on ground, remove shroud and walk out above deck. Easy

Perfect match with OEM. Does have zerk fitting for repacking bearings. I swapped out without removing deck on my 30” wide Troy-Bilt riding mower, would imagine process is same with other models. I just flipped it upright(front wheels pointing to sky. STRONGLY recommend buying new blade bolts for each blade change.

Mine is a troy built. This is for a cub cadet. I wondered why it seems like they’re spinning very fast and I had to get a smaller belt. The pulleys are 1 inch smaller but I got mine working so just make sure you buy the right ones. I also had to buy a grease gun for these

I have a small repair shop where I repair & purchase parts for myself & customers. My customer needed 2ea. spindles for a Craftsmen Riding mower and had Part number for them. The Part number was listed in the document that was displayed for the Spindle assembly. it also gave an illustration with dimensions which match the spindle I had. I have a Troybilt lawn tractor with a 42" mower deck. It's made by MTD like many of the lower cost lawn and garden products sold at the box stores. MTD products are not top quality but considering how much they cost they do deliver pretty good value. Best of all they are very simple and easy to work on. Anyway mine has lots of hours of use on it so things are starting to fail. When the spindle failed I looked at the spindles here on amazon and decided to not buy the least expensive product. Glad I did, this spindle is free of defects, fit perfectly and also works perfect. I will buy this again when the other spindle fails. Good product, I DO recommend it!
