I made the mistake once of getting one and it was way too big to fit in the vase. I know the picture shows them holding flowers displayed with no vase but I don't use it like that. This is a wonderful item, and cheap! And it comes in a two pack. Just put your flowers - real or artificial - in the holes then twist. It's opened up a whole new world for me because usually I put them in a vase and they look like a hot mess.This makes them look really cool. I love it.

Personally, I never heard of Ikebana, but when I saw this gadget I had to try it. I threaded the flower stems through the holes, gave a twist, and to my amazement, I had a beautifully spaced arrangement! This from someone with no talent for flower arranging! I don't think that thick-stemmed flowers would fit through the holes, but for most flowers, this is an easy way to create a beautiful arrangement in your own vase. Highly recommended.

There are two sizes of flower holder and they really do look best if you choose between them based on the number of stems you are arranging so that it is full. They also work best when used with a vase which has straight sides instead of a bulb at the bottom.The flowers slide around as you try to fit the next flower into the holder, but once they are all in and the unit is twisted, they seem to hold pretty well. Except for the central hole, of course, whose flower can slide down easily all the time. The top and bottom twist apart for easy cleaning and the smaller unit can store easily inside the larger one. They are made from hard plastic and are crystal clear so not visually intrusive.

I got these in order to use them for feathers in a vase and I’m extremely happy with them. They’re sturdy, seem very durable and having 2 sizes gives you the flexibility of using different sizes of vases. Since feather quills are small, I was able to place more than one in a hole if needed and I was still able to arrange them to where I wanted them easily.

I review products for the Amazon vine program and I received this product to review. We have an upcoming wedding in the family and will likely be using wildflowers in some of the bouquets. These stem holders should be helpful because they keep the flowers in place and separated. You must remove all the leaves before placing the flowers but some stems of the flowers used to make my photo were too thick to easily pass through and I had to force them. There is no give to this, some are made of silicon and are easier to use. I am giving it three stars because of these issues.

Great stem holders for a cut flower arrangement for 2 different sized vase openings. Clear color is perfect to blend in with the water!

This is a decent item and works as it is supposed to. However, I tried it the first time and quickly discovered that the diameter of the stems must be pretty small. I was hoping that my springtime tulips next year will fit in it but that won’t be the case I’m afraid. I Purchased two bags of flowers from my local grocery store and only some of the stems fit. The key is also in using the right kind of vase. You need one that is wide enough to get the stem holder in place. It’s definitely inexpensive. I liked that the small holder fits inside the larger holder.
