Simply unscrew the thumb wheel from behind the housing, remove the housing from the helmet, place the strap adapter in the same position and lock it into place by tightening the thumb wheel screw already provided with the helmet. Sold by the set - each set has two (2) adapters, one for each side of your helmet.

Amazon can be so good then not for the first time send me an open box product. I bought a premium football helmet; choice was new or used. What I got was obviously an opened box with a helmet rolling around with scratches and one air pod unusable. I would return it but needed it now for Grandsons game. I am about done with Amazon
