My Grandpa and Uncle were very specific in the only brand that would work for an auto air stapler. We use this for insulation work. I went out on a limb and bought this even if it was off brand from their choice. They used it one time and was sold. It’s exactly what we needed and cheaper than the competition. 10/10 would buy again.

Purchased 2 guns from local distributes and used them over the last years. I use these guns stapling fabric on wood framing on residential projects. I don't shoot many staples per year, maybe 1-2 carton/ box per year/per gun.A week ago I was using them in an attic and both broke in less then 10 minutes. First I thought it was dirt or lack of pressure, checked the first gun. Nothing. Switched to gun #2 and a few minutes later same problem. No staples coming out of the gun.Today I had time and finally took them apart. I found a handful of broken white plastic parts inside! Plastic! see picture. My guess its you can't use these guns when its cold in an attic! The plastic shattered in seconds. Currently waiting for the parts department to give me a price on AS-06085 "Piston and Driver Assembly". Maybe not worth the cost.

So far it hasn't missed a beat. I've ran about 20k staples thru it so far. It works great.
