When I first got the product the welds were kind of shoddy but this was due to the electrode contacts. They were roughly 1 in pieces of solid copper wire that I replaced with a 6-in piece of solid copper wire of a slightly larger diameter. The longer pieces of copper Fit all the way to the back of the handles and make far better contact. The welds are consistent now and the Machine performs better than I expected.

I managed to misplace the wall charger for this machine. I asked what the voltage was so that I could dig around and find something I could use to replace my missing DC wall plug. Very powerful unit. It came charged right out of the box & worked right away. The foot pedal helps because it allows you to position the electrodes on the work piece with full contact. Once satisfied, you can depress the pedal & weld! I tried the different settings & the spot welds are solid!

I hear a click and sometimes see a spark. Thats it. Doesn't even work on the strip provided.
