I've used lots and lots of these and of many brand names and for the size this one works as well as any of then, if you have never used your hands much or lack in hand strength like Roger Baxter then it may be difficult at first but you'll get it quickly

Wanted to use this item for tin labels, pre- stamping product numbers, prior to being pop riveted onto tanks and other similar products. This stamp set basically didn’t work on anything, I tried copper, I tried aluminum, I tried other non metal products such as leather, plastics and my oak kitchen cabinets for crying out loud!… I was so dam convinced it would fail, I tried stamping my beautiful refrigerator, my beautiful oven, my god dam sexy dishwasher!! I even failed at stamping my 4 slice toaster and my new $1000 microwave, yeah a $1000 for a popcorn maker!…sheeeesh!… thanks JB!… but in the end…. I definitely didn’t try, but I’d bet my wife’s sweet ass, it wouldn’t stamp a wet fart!…thank you, come again…just don’t come here again to buy this!!!🤪

Used for stamping an aluminum item covered in enamel paint. Did the job just fine, and better than other hammerless stamping sets I've used in the past.It seems that the manufacturer has changed the design, removing a sleeve that used to be present. This does not affect functionality of the device. It does make it less pretty though.

I'll start with a disclaimer that I've only used this on aluminum & copper so I can't speak to how it works on harder materials. It took me a while to get the technique down - in the beginning it looked like it was done by a toddler - so practice on some scrap before using it on a finished product! However, once I got the technique down it worked great.

Love it's own case. Very well made sturdy dependable thick metal stamps. Love the spring handle that comes with it. The only thing I don't like is you have to be very steady handed to operate because of the spring loaded hammer it jumps when u release it causing your hand to move so it messes up your stamp. So would only recommend if you have a very steady hand or you have help. That's why I gave it four stars. Other then that it is amazing.
