I bought a different brand about a year ago and the threads were too short to thread into the socket. This one is just right, well worth buying. The height adjuster works just fine so far.

This works great for me. I've got short legs, but the lowest setting works perfect for me. So cut it close on height.

These seem to be well built for the money. I will warn you they are very tall even in the lowest position setting my feet where not able to set flat on the deck of my boat so I had to cut about 2 inches or a little more off these. I am 6foot 1inch and not a small man they feel very sturdy and having to cut a couple inches off did not make this purchase a bad one.

I am 6’2” tall and I had to cut 5 inches off of it so my feet were flat on the deck of my boat. It’s well made and the aluminum is thick. A well made product.,, just a little too long for my needs. I would buy again. Easy to install too.

Perfect for my casting seat. Manual adjustment is easy and nothing inside to break down like the others. Threaded end holds firm to boat like my factory seat posts.
