Our square braid wicks are unprimed (raw) and untabbed. Our candle wicks need to be primed with the wax of your choice prior to use. Test burning candles using various wick sizes is recommended to determine the right size wick for your particular application. Total wick length is 10 yards.

I bought this to use with beeswax sheets to make rolled candles. The wicking wants to hold the kinked shape from being rolled up which made the rolling process a little tricky so I suggest cutting your lengths and weighting them under a heavy book for a couple of days to flatten them. It burns nicely with minimal smoke and in an appropriate amount of time for the beeswax to burn fully so it doesn't make a big mess. Recommended.

I have had little to no issue with other wicks, but every candle I make with these turns into a 3 inch flame. Eventually it burns below the wax, snuffing the flame.

This wick worked out pretty good for my ''3 diameter container candle. I used a mixture of white beeswax and coconut oil and this type of wick worked fairly well with that mixture. I think that I will try ''3 in the future, because I think ''2 is a little bit to small for the diameter of container I used.

I had never made candles before and wasn't sure what thickness to get. The wick seems great to work with and burns normally, leaving behind black chunks from the cotton content as it burns down.I bought the #2 size. The flame height I'm getting is much higher than other candles I'm used to. And it's melting the surface of the candle down too far out to the edges, causing the puddle of wax to pour over the edge sometimes. This is my fault because I didn't pour the candles with a diameter to match the wick thickness I bought. I'll be making more with a bigger mold soon and don't anticipate any such problems.

Used to make my own candles out of mason jars and some lantern oil for emergency use and camping. Works great! Flame was not to big to create excess smoke.

This was my first attempt at making candles. I was using beeswax in an 8-oz. jelly jar with about a 2 1/2 " opening. These were the perfect size. They have been burning very well, and curling over and burning up like a good wick is supposed to do. Very pleased.

This wick is great for larger bees wax candles I got the size from a candle wick web sight that said this would work for beeswax candles up to 2 ". I have been burning my test candle for 3 days and I am very happy with the results. I am casting my candles in the new tall skinny coke cans. It is working great and gives me a nice candle about 6" tall by 2" diameter. This is the perfect wick. Delivery was supper fast and the price was right.
