I mainly use it while washing dishes to collect food scraps that get caught in the drain strainer. However, after a week of being tightly sealed, the smell became unbearable, and I stopped using it altogether.Before giving up on composting entirely, I decided to try this charcoal filter. It does a fantastic job of absorbing odors and is super easy to trim to the right size. It would be even more convenient if it came with an adhesive backing.
