I used this panel as a subpanel for my solar project. I installed three dual 15A breakers. My Renogy solar inverter charger acts as its main feed supplying 120vAC max of 40A. The dual 15A breakers are great to save space in this panel.

Bought two of these, one for the garage, one for the cabin. The ground bar should be included, but it's not, you have to buy it separately. It is the right size for back feeding a generator as long as you're careful to manually disconnect from the street power first, then turn on the breaker for the generator. Lots of knockouts are supplied and lots of room to route wiring making it easy and quick to wire up. It is available as flush or surface mount. Breakers seem to be readily available for this type of panel.
