The drill bit needs to be longer in order to accommodate a full sized standard mortise in a door.

This square hole bit is well made and works as expected. Keep in mind that you will need a Mortiser drill press to use it.

3rd world tool.Burrs left on edges. Edges blued from poor grinding.Not sharp. Very dull and dangerous to use...Can not be used as expected.Complete rip off.
