These hoods do not fit my brakes. They are oversized and slide. Unfortunately, I installed them after the 30 days return policy and I’ll just have to keep them. I contacted SRAM and was provided with the proper model number for my brakes—I hope that the new hoods will fit properly.

After seven years of hard riding the hoods on my old Force levers were wearing thin. Rather than wait for them to tear, I ordered these. Good move. I'll be almost 80 years old when I'll need new ones.

There are 2 hood's per package and the hoods fit exactly as they should. Hoods have SRAM logo on them and they come in SRAM packaging. I will definitely buy again when I need to.

My road bike has SRAM Apex shifters so these are the OEM hoods. The original owner had installed Huudz brand hoods. Not really much difference in the feel out on the road. Huudz may have been just a little softer

Si no es compatible con la manija, no acoplara correctamente. Se soluciona recortando el sobrante, pero no es lo mas adecuado.

Exact replacement for the hoods on my bike. Easy to install once I figured out to use rubbing alcohol as a lubricant to install them over the brakes.

Installation can be a little difficult, but if you turn the part that fits up against the handlebar inside out and then rub a little spit on it, it will be much easier to get them on. Looks great with my yellow side wall tires, my white bar tape, and my red, white, and black road bike.

Great OEM replacement hoods. Perfect fit, 15 mins to install. Remember to use rubbing alcohol to lubricate the hoods before install.

so i've heard people complain about how difficult these are to get on and off. and i've installed them on a couple bikes now and with a couple sets of shifters on the one bike. but i've never had any major problems with them. they're tight and yes they're a bit difficult, but they're also stretchy and as long as you pay attention to the little nubs inside, whether they're getting hung up on anything and only *gently* pulling them over parts as you pull the hoods on, you should have no problem. but just as i'm putting my latest set on and thinking to myself "i don't know why people stress over installing these, it's not that hard." what happens?RIP!!!crap.oh well. i'm back to buy another set because i love how they look. i love white bar tape because it works well with the color scheme of both these bikes, but it just gets filthy way too quickly. the white hoods are easy to keep clean (much easier than white tape; just use some citrus cleaner or grease cutting dishwashing soap) and still "ties my bike together", if you know what i mean (you do. why else would you be buying colored hoods?).so fear not. these can go on easily, you just need to be gentle and take your time. the back is especially thin so don't pull too hard on that. i didn't use any special rubbing alcohol or boiling or nuking methods for mine, like i've read elsewhere (should i have? no. i think that you can rip them no matter what you do. the most important part is being careful and taking your time.) once on though, they're fantastic; they fit like the originals and add a nice little bit of bling to your bike for cheap. something to keep you smiling when you're climbing a difficult hill or are just on the verge of bonking during a long ride. highly recommended.
