This perticular item was defective. The female end was not secured properly. It pops out with little ease. I tried to weld the spring to the “female socket” but it’s 2 different metals. So I need to buy another one bc I destroyed the first one. If u buy this, check and make sure the pieces may separate easily.

Only time will tell, as it is meant for outdoor antenna applications, but what I've felt and seen of it so far, it will be an agreeably long time before needing replaced.

Works well on my MotorCoach w/Firestik. Good and sturdy. Limited flex. It does bend with low branches and other lower obstacles.

Very durable in appearance and weight steel spring. It has an adjustable heavy duty mounting screw for CB antenna thread applications. Looks just like picture. Adds about 3 more inches of height to my antenna. I should be able to reach the Freedom Convoy much easier and look good doing it! Should give my antenna some good resistance flex.

Seems more stiff then it needs to be for an antenna. I am afraid that it will bend the metal where mounted on the bed of my truck. fits nice. time will tell.
