This is a surprisingly good glove for the asking price, which for my purchase was under $18.00. The leather is thin and tough. The stitching is accurate. The weave of the mesh back is tight and has sufficient elasticity to keep the leather palm and finger surfaces where they need to be. To get a noticeably better glove, you probably have to pay two or three times this amount, and if you buy these you may find that you do not want a better glove, unless price is completely irrelevant. While these gloves are reinforced on the pinky and index fingers for use with dressage reins, they are also quite suitable to use as a summer driving glove in an open topped sports car. That is the way that I use them. Treating the leather portions with a hand cream before the first use provides the right level of grip for this purpose.
