We bought this discus for our girls program this year. The grip is excellent and it makes a difference of 10+ feet when we compare it to other disc in our collection. There is something about the grip on the outside rim that are athletes like better than the rest. Our athletes can just get a better hold on the discus and not have to worry about dropping the discus on the ground. I would highly recommend to any program that is on a budget but still needs a great disc that will last.
