These pens are great. They don't bleed through paper or smudge at all (I'm left-handed). I use them for bullet journaling and they add vibrant color to my journal entries. Also this set was a great deal for the number of colors you get. Strongly recommend!

Belli, li consiglio

Being a all-time sketcher, I was looking for a good set of coloured pens covering a good colour spectrum and having good ink. These tick all boxes. One cons is that some colours on the pen does not correspond to the actual ink of the pens. So not suitable for a professional studio or atelier.

On the page, there are two options: basic set and gift set. I got the basic set whose original price on amazon was around rs 2000. I got the basic set for around rs 1600 after applying rs. 400 off coupon displayed on the product page itself. (I have noticed, Staedtler products often come with these coupons)I wasn't expecting the coloring book with the basic set however On receiving the highlighters, I saw a sticker on it which said the coloring book comes free with this. Just to be sure, I contacted amazon customer care. Turned out the basic set also comes with the book. They sorted out the matter and delivered the book in a few days.So I got 36 fineliners for 1600 AND the coloring book (JB Magical jungle) which is worth 500-600rs. Pretty good deal.Fineliners are awesome. Beautiful colours. Works smoothly. Doesn't bleed alot. Staedtler>>stabilo fineliners.

A few years ago, back when sturdy-paged coloring books came out as a relaxing tool for adults, I bought the triplus fineliner 10 pack (by Staedtler) from Office Max. I liked the sturdy plastic case as much as I liked the markers! Along with the 10 pack, I purchased a pack of metallic ink pens, which added great accents to the finished artwork! I took my time, filling in each area...each page turned out great and it was quite soothing.Anyway, I was thrilled when I came across this 36 pack from Staedtler and bought two (one for Mom and one for me)! Had I realized that they offered this product in a 60 pack, I would have bought those! I love the colors, the shape of the pens, love the way the ink covers, and the fine tip is perfect for these type of coloring books! I hope, sometime in the near future, that Staedtler considers creating another set of equally fine-tip markers to include metallic colors.Oh, by the way, I just dug out my 10 pack to see if they color any different from the new ones... not only do they color the same but the markers that I bought more than 3 years ago work like new! I just bought these so that I could add extra colors 😉. My granddaughters have used my markers many times along beside me, over the past several years, to color in my books...we would sit together and color for hours. (And yet....the 10 pack still works great!)(I did not rate sheerness because I have no idea what they’re referring to)Keep up the good work, Staedtler, and I’ll keep coming back and recommending these awesome pens to others!

Why get a pack of 10 or 20 or even 36, when you can get ALL of the colors in one giant pack of 42! This pack includes the neon and pastel colors available in the smaller sets. I LOVE Staedtler pens. I use them for my Bullet Journal and wanted more color options. These are perfect.PROS: - The color goes on clean and doesn't smear. I draw a lot of lines with a ruler and the line is clean when I pull the ruler away. Some felt-tip pens will smear when you pull the ruler away from the line because the pens are so wet. Staedtler pens don't do that.- The tip size seems just right. It's not too wide and not too small.- The tips seem to last even if my toddlers have gotten ahold of them. Eeeek! Anyone with toddlers knows how quickly they can crush a nice tip.- They all write without issue and don't dry out.- So many colors to choose from!- The smaller Neon and Pastel sets are included in this collection.CONS:- While I LOVE all the colors of this set, I DO wish it had the same kind of stand-up case that other, smaller packs have. I also have a 20 pack of these Staedtler pens and have swapped my favorite pen colors into THAT case so that I still have the stand for the ones I use the most. :) Yup, I'm a dork, but a clever one.- If you hold the tip in place it will pool a bit. But it's a felt-tip marker/pen. So, that's kind of a given.- I use Leuchtturm1917 Bullet Journals and I find that these DO bleed through a little. It's not BAD though even if I'm coloring something in on the other side. It's not enough to be disruptive to the content on the flip side. At least not with a Leuchtturm notebook.I'd still highly recommend these to anyone. The quality is dependable, at least from my experience.

Got these in two days, as promised! First impression: the box holding the pens is much sturdier than I expected. Most cardboard pen/pencil packages can stand maybe six or seven openings/closings before they start to fall apart...but this box looks like it will last quite a bit longer than that! That might seem like a trivial thing, but I prefer not to buy separate holders for my art supplies, and just use what they came in as long as possible, so this one is already making a good impression on me. I immediately opened them and did my usual color-checking process: I filled in a little 1"x1" square with each color, with light coloring on the left of the square moving to thick/dark on the right side. I always refer back to the paper so I can tell exactly what each color will look like. The pens were all easy to color with, they move smoothly across the paper, the thickness didn't wax or wane, and only three of them had slight imperfections on their tips that made the coloring more uneven, but I think a quick trim of the tip will correct that. After coloring in the color-reference blocks, I moved onto a coloring book to test them in large and very small spaces. The large spaces were a little difficult for me, as I'm not used to having to maintain the exact same amount of pressure from one part of the space to another...this caused some streaks, and some darker spots and some lighter spots. I assume this is a technique issue, and will be resolved once I get some more practice. The small spaces were awesome, though. I was afraid some of the mandala spaces I'm coloring in would be too small for the color to show up, but these high-impact pens worked great! It's hard to NOT see the color in those small spaces! The major reason I bought this set is because of the variety of colors - I'm not great at blending or creating new colors, so I needed a set that would include various colors and shades and tints and whatnot. This set has a bunch of reds, blues, and greens, and a few purples, yellows, a couple oranges, and six highlighter-esque colors. One or two of them were a bit dry, but they worked better after a few moments of coloring. All in all, I am incredibly pleased with this product! Great quality, great variety, and a great value!
