Spear is not long enough to reach into taller jars, so if you plan to use this, but only short jars.

We are a pickle household, and I didn't know that a pickle fork was even a thing. I love this thing! My husband is notorious for getting pickles out with his bare hands (gross) but now uses the pickle fork. It is easy to clean and looks like a cute little reindeer.

This is a great idea & cute option for jarred pickles of just about any kind: pickled onions, jalapeños, banana peppers, giardiniera, traditional "pickles" (pickled cucumbers), & other marinated veg such as mushrooms & various olives.Where it falls short, however, is that these items come in jars that most people serve out of & then either throw away or put in the recycle bin (please recycle where you can). The pick has a band around it that snaps onto an adhesive snap circle designed to go on the jar & the package comes with a total of 3 adhesive snap circles. Then what? Are these circles reusable on other jars? Does the company sell replacement snap circles? If so, how much are they?This would be wonderful as is if you used a special serving container for this type of condiment, though I know of no one who does. IMHO, a better design would be to have the snap be on a stretchy silicone band that can be slipped on everything from the tall, thin banana pepper jars to the chunky hamburger dill slices jars.If giving as a gift, this is challenging to wrap as it arrives. I recommend placing it in an appropriately sized box to wrap or pop it into a small gift bag. This makes a nice part of a multi-part housewarming or any occasion gift. Elevate it by including a dedicated serving container (start a new trend) & some other fun kitchen gadgets.We like this & feel it's accurately priced for what it is, but will be keeping our eyes out for an updated version that is more reusable or better designed for how we serve pickle type condiment items.

This reindeer pickle fork made me LOL...so I had to order it. So cute. Would be a great white elephant gift. Other reviewers complained about the sticky snaps only being useful for one jar. I'm one that tends to lose extra replacement items (like the extra sticky snaps) over time....so, I'm going to use a smaller mason jar & just refill it with pickles. I eat store-bought pickles almost every day and I sometimes have trouble stabbing the little pickles with my fork. I saw this cute Shinelingee Stainless Pickle Fork, that attaches to the pickle jar and is always handy. It reminds me of a moose the way the fork top is shaped like antlers. The fork holder sticks to the jar with a snap. The fork holder has a snap and you put the provided matching snap on the jar. It attaches easily. The fork comes with three snaps for attaching to the glass. I chose not to stick it to the paper label in hopes of being able to reuse the jar snap. I was disappointed that when it came time to remove the snap from the jar, the snap was not good for another jar. I will find an alternate method for connecting the holder to the jar. I have to say, I originally ordered this pickle fork for fun, but now that I have it, I don't want to go back to using a table fork. The Shinelingee Fork makes getting the pickles out an easy task but it doesn't reach down to the last few pickles in the jar. If it was an inch longer, it would reach them all. I think I could use this for pickled beets too. I like this cute, little product.

Included in the package was the fork, holder, band, and button fasteners.The fork is made of stainless steel. The fork handle is made from wood. The holder is made from wood. The band and button fasteners are made of a synthetic leather.What I liked:The pickle fork was able to retrieve pickles and olives from my jars.The fork could reach to the bottom of a wide-mouth pickle jar, and a short olive jar.What I didn't like:The fork is too short to reach to the bottom of a tall olive jar.The button fasteners have an adhesive backing. Probably meant to be used on a a non-discardable jar or surface.The fork must be cleaned and dried before placing it back in the holder.The holder and fork must be removed from the band before each use because of how tight the fork is in the holder.A fork-style picker puts holes in the food.Overall, OK for everyday use with short or wide-mouth jars. With its antler design, it may be more at home on a holiday relish tray to put food on a plate rather than from a jar.

This is perfect for a small get together for the holidays, whether it’s an office party, family dinner or just to hang out & have a few trays of snacks. This little pickle fork is just the right size, even for the small hands of the little ones that like to be independent & get their own plates. It’s easily cleaned off with dish soap & warm water. I’m unsure about putting it in the dishwasher as I didn’t place mine in the dishwasher, due to having just a few trays that were disposable.I love the look & design of this item, it brings a nice touch of holiday cheer to your table. Your guests will definitely comment on it & ask where you got it!!! So many people have asked where they can get one like mine or if there are other options available.I recommend this item to anyone who has a holiday get together coming up this season!!! You won’t regret it!!
