We ordered this product to put around a 6 x 6 post that was going to be submerged into concrete. We were easily able to attach it to a pre-existing post (one side had a 1" thick cedar board on it). It protected the wood from the new concrete.

Needed something to protect the mailbox post from trimmers. This was easy to install, has an adjustable fit, and does the trick.

Just installed; feels like it’s made with quality, installation is a breeze especially since they include everything you need except the drill. I think it’ll hold up well but hard to say since it was just installed. Happy with the purchase.

While this metal bracket definitely does the job, the slits which make the size adjustment are not attractive since the post color shows through. Will be painting the post area white.

This worked out great. You can fit it around your post so it will fit multiple sizes. I haven’t had to weed wack around it yet but I think it will be perfect.

Nice overall product- I like that they are adjustable for fencepost size. The screws that are supplied are very soft and should be tossed before opening the package- get some real screws.

Great for protecting wooden posts. I put this on the post for my bird feeders and after using for a season, there are no marks, even where the lawn mower has brushed against it. They are easy to install and very durable.
