Im not sure about this, may change my review later, I had to clean the metal turnings from inside. this could have seriously damaged my pump if I wouldn’t have caught it, there was some other debris inside as well. After cleaning and putting some oil on the thread, the parts screw together nicely, it does seem to be stainless steel based on weight and lack of magnetism. I think the vacuum port is glued on, not sure, we’ll see how it holds up. Will not fit to a faucet, you will have to rig with hose and clamps.Update: Would not pull vacuum. Water comes from threaded joints, tried teflon tape on threads, it helped alot but still bo vacuum. Rigged to high pressure water hose to be sure, its winter here, the water coming out of the hose was COLD, but still no vacuum. Came from China, probably wont even waste time trying to get a refund.

Same problem, as reported by another buyer. The vacuum outlet is glued on by superglue. You cannot unscrew it. The backstop valve does not work either.

Item has been refurbished/modified, 'quick-fixed' with super glue. The vacuum outlet part of the valve is glued on, the O-ring that appears there is cosmetic. When I received it, I unscrewed all the other parts, but couldn't seem to unscrew the vacuum arm. I thought it was merely tightened on too strongly, and so I thought no more about it. In usage then, there was no hint of a valve, and water flows into the vacuum line. The vacuum suction is extremely weak to non-existent/not working, the water column into the vacuum line goes 6 to 10 inches, sometimes much more. And then that water head/height barely moves/reduces (no suction).I finally gave up since little to no vaccum was being generated, took it off and used a pair of pliers to loosen it. It barely 'unscrewed', it more like fell out! Then I realized it had been glued on with instant/super glue... The O-ring had lost its compression and was stiff as a rock. The male threading barely has any play to screw on, and (from the pictures, you can also see) the internal threading on the main body is damaged as well... (which is why I assume they glued it back on instead).Add to that, in the process of refurbishment, the check/back-flow valve had not been re-inserted, or it inconspicuously fell out (missing/damaged at any rate) causing backflow into the flow line instead of suction, as the aspirator pumps.
