Love it. I was looking for a way to make my eggs just like McDonalds makes the ones that they put on their McMuffins. 😂 This worked perfectly. I swirl a little butter in the cup with the silicone brush that comes with it. Then crack the egg into the cup and steam for 3-4 minutes. It’s perfect every time and slips out easily.

Love this item! I am very particular when it comes to anything I cook in or eat from. This gadget poached my eggs beautifully and quickly! I sprayed a little avocado oil into each cup, spread it around all the way to the top before adding my eggs. Took a pot big enough to fit the base into, put about an inch of water in it, boiled the water, THEN put my eggs in for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes for light to medium poach. They come out perfect every time with a rubber spatula, so as not to scratch the cups. Easily cleaned with plastic scrubby sponge. Enjoy!

Love stainless steel. Hard to clean. Smooth rounded shape would be better. Happy with this purchase, thank you!

Way too large to cook an egg. Going to the garbage.

Because the handle is too tall for any pan I have the stand is not useable. I put a little water in bottom of a skillet and lightly oil poachers before adding eggs. This makes removal of eggs and clean up so easy.

I am very interested in getting an egg poacher that does not have Teflon, but this one did not work. The removal stem is too tall except for the deepest heavy pot. The device is quite wide and thus the pot really has to be a big one. The individual egg cups are hard to get out safely when hot. Even when greasing up the cups, the eggs are quite hard to remove. My guess is that it is due to the shape which does not gently curve but rather is a right angle wall to the flat bottom. Thus a spatula will not tease the egg out and if you tip the entire device, the other cups fall out. The shape of the cup is also quite flat and wide not like the usual thicker cup shape of other cookers which I prefer. Lastly we could not clean the cups well due to the non curved nature of the cups. We even had to use a fingernail to scrape out egg residue in the corner of the cup where the flat bottom meets the straight side wall. Even then, not totally clean. I returned this item immediately after one try.

These work fine and let go of the eggs well, if you oil them adequately and let them heat up a bit before you add the eggs. I like that they don't have a toxic non-stick surface and since they are stainless steel, you can scrub them without worry.

Works as expected but egg will sometimes stick even when an oil is applied prior. Also, it takes quite a bit of work to get the egg residue off after use when washing.

So I don’t buy anything I cook in with teflon looking (yes I know it’s banned but don’t trust the new non-stick) coatings. It was hard to find an egg poacher that was stainless steel so I am happy to have one. I read reviews but I don’t understand the issue with putting a too on because the center sticks up. I use a pot and clears with plenty of room so may e they are using a sauce pan and the. Yes a problem. The reason it gets a 4 is because it does stick even with oil or butter but not enough to keep from getting the out easily. However what stainless steel cooking weare doesn’t stick.

First time I ever poached eggs in my life and I learned it from YouTube using egg poacher devices. I was going to buy a set that is all in one but did not feel comfortable with the non stick plastic cups in case they leak chemicals. When I saw this one with the stainless steel cups I decided to buy it.It is a good fit into my steamer where I add 1 inch of water and once it boils drop the unit in, put the cover on and in 5 minutes perfect poached eggs like a pro.One bit of advice is to oil the cups with butter or oil so the egg will not stick to the sides. I did that and still got a bit of stick-age to the sides but no big deal as it was not hard to clean. Great product and I highly recommend it.

This poacher is easy to use and is great for one person or 3 eggs. I little oil, a little boil and no foil. Perfect poached eggs to your liking.

I got the 3 round cups with the wire rack. I love the stainless steel cups - I put a little butter in the bottom, comes with a little silicone brush to spread it around but I just put it in the water briefly to melt it and swirl it around in the cup, put the egg in, salt it, and place the cup in a pan with boiling water (up to approx half the height of the cup), put the lid on the pan, and 3 minutes later, the egg white is cooked just right, very tender, much better than a fried egg! Cups are easy to clean, I just put a bit of dishwashing soap and use the boiling water I cooked with to fill up the cup in the sink, then after I've eaten, it's all cool and I can handwash in 5 seconds, or put in dishwasher. So, I'm happy with this set EXCEPT for one important detail. The TALL handle on the rack that holds the 3 cups. WTF?!? You need a lid to cook poached eggs this way, the steam cooks the top of the eggs. BUT THE HANDLE is freakishly tall, too tall for any lid. I mean, maybe if I used a deep pot where the lid would fit over, but I use a pan for this with a tight-fitting lid. Who's idea was it to make the handle so tall?? So I cook one egg in a very small pan (actually I usually put an egg and an extra yolk together in one cup, or 2-3 eggs in a larger pan without using the rack. Would be nice to have a rack that wasn't too tall to put the lid on, tho. Just bad design. But it is all stainless steel and I'm keeping it. If I ever get another I guess I'll get the pan and poacher insert combo.
