I work at restoring old cars, snow blowers and mowers. I am always looking for different size hose clamps. It seems I never have the right size for the application. This kit provides a nice variety of hose clamps. I compared these to some I purchased at Lowes and the quality is the same. Very happy with this purchase. Cheers

Well priced and well made stainless hose clamps. As others have pointed out they do have flat heads for the tightening, and don't seem to fit 1/4" or 5/16" nut drivers. They work well, and hold, but Philips or combo drive would be nice. Overall good product and good price/piece and value.

The "Stainless Steel Hose Clamp Assortment Kit, 25 Pieces Worm Gear Hose Clamp Adjustable 1/4 to 2-1/4in" is a great assortment of clamps for rubber hoses under the hood. They are strong stainless steel, and the worm drive and ribs did not fail even when I really torqued the clamps. I have these is my son's C4 corvette (1988) for emergency repairs and used several when we were replacing coolant and fuel lines during the rebuild process. They lockup and function perfectly, and they work on most rubber hoses you encounter on cars. The kit includes several sizes, and the cost of this kit is equivalent to buying just one or two large clamps at a home store. I highly recommend this brand and recommend you keep some in your car for emergencies.

Decent value, ok quality. Meh for ease of use. The screw heads are all metric, and don’t fit very well. A 1/4” driver will work on some of the 6mm heads but not on others.

Now, I am a purist and I always test any type of Stainless Steel claim with a magnet. These are ever so slightly magnetic, but under certain manufacturing conditions such as cold working, welding, heavy bending, stretching, forming etc… this can happen. If you can’t pick it up with said magnet, it is still 100% 304 Stainless Steel. It can still be used for outdoor applications and will still repel anything and everything the bad side of mother nature will throw at it. The clamps come in a sturdy plastic case that snaps tightly closed, so you have all of them together in one place for when needed. The sizes are 5 each of 6-12mm, 13-19mm, 16-25mm, 21-38mm and 33-57mm for a total of 25 clamps. They are adjustable using a standard screw driver or, since they are metric, you’ll need a 6mm socket for the smaller ones and a 7mm socket for the larger ones. Life is Good!! This is a nice little set of stainless steel hose clamps, from 1/4 inch to 2-1/4 inch hoses. I needed one for my garden hose to fill up the water tubs for the animals, but then I considered that in spring I need to also connect the sprinklers, which are on a smaller hose, and the extender I bought for my high pressure washer could use one as well. So, got this little set. Nice that it is stainless steel and not just galvanized.

These are light duty with a bit of looseness when tugged on. The body is a simple stamped construction and they are marked "304" on the body of the clamp. *But* 304 stainless should be non-magnetic. That was true for the band and the screw but as shown in the picture, the body that was stamped "304" stuck lightly to a magnet.They are still useful, but I will not use them on my boat that I keep in salt water. Or at least not for use below the waterline or not easily inspected. They would be fine for most uses on a car or around the house.

This product was received as part of a promotion. I got these for my husband to have in his tool supplies. These stainless steel hose clamps come in a clear plastic reusable box. The box shows which sizes are inside. It comes in 5 different sizes with 5 different pieces of each size, for a total of 25 pieces. The clamps are sturdy & built of great quality. They can be used for a variety of projects. They do their job well as far as functionality goes. It’s a great value because just a few of these clamps at our local hardware store would total the cost for 25!
