HOW TO MOUNT
STEP 1
Use M8*40 self-tapping screw to fixl-shaped plate to your platform.
STEP 2
Fix handrail to L-shaped plate with M8*50 bolts, and then fix the front end of handrail to the platform with M8*40 self-tapping screw.
STEP 3
Finally use nuts and M8*60 bolts and nylon spacer to fix the steps to handrail. And cover PP caps onto both the head of nuts & hexagon bolts.

I was thoroughly impressed with the utility and design of the ladder. Due to new building codes, my renovated dock is now higher, making access to the gunwale challenging at low tide, especially for the elderly, shorter individuals, or those with mobility issues. The extendable dock ladder effectively addresses this problem. Another fantastic feature is that when retracted, it remains completely out of the water, preventing barnacles from forming on the submerged steps, unlike many other products I considered. The mounting is exceptionally sturdy yet lightweight. My only suggestion is to add a lifting line to the bottom rung; I used a 1-inch nylon strap for this purpose. Without it, raising the ladder from the dockside is quite difficult. Overall, it is an excellent product.

This ladder is made of good quality material and is easy to install. The instructions were simple and easy to follow. All parts were available for ease and quick installation. It’s very lightweight so easy to be moved. It’s easy to use and can be used for a variety of uses. This is a great product for the money.

I purchased this ladder to go on the pier at our lake house. It is great quality and very sturdy. We can easily fold it up when not in use. The screws that were included were not long enough to go through the boards but that was an easy fix! All in all, the ladder looks great and gets the job done.

I just mounted this on a floating dock, so I have yet to try it out, but I expect that it will perform equally as well as it is made. Well constructed and nicely finished. All the hardware appears to be stainless. The screws provided for attaching it are a good size.The instructions recommend that you have a cross screwdriver. What you need is a Philips with a relatively larger head. Also, two wrenches, both preferably adjustable or 13 mm.There were four nylon washers included with the hardware, but they were not referenced in the list of parts or the instructions. The obvious place for them to go is on the bolts that secure the ladder to the upper part, between the two.Note that the steps are not perpendicular to the sides of the ladder. I believe that is so that when the ladder is in use, being at a slight angle to vertical, the steps are level. If the ladder were mounted in the opposite direction, the steps would be at quite an angle, and maybe uncomfortable.It's not that difficult to raise it out of the water, but I might try adding a rope to the bottom rung to make it a little easier.Looking forward to that first exit from the lake.

Purchased to put on our dock. I bought this particular one because it had one extra step. i thought it would be good for the smaller kids and us older ones as well. It is perfect. Very sturdy, heavy duty. Folds easily. Easy to install. Would purchase again. Highly recommend.

Treads are hard so a little tough on the feet. The ladder itself is awesome. Super heavy duty, classy looking, and I love how easily and firmly it tips up when not in use.

We had this style of ladder on our pontoon and it was just too lightweight (and, broke). Right out of the box, you are confident that this bad boy will do the job. No one wants to be climbing out of the lake and not have a solid ladder that will support them. Spend the few extra dollars for this model, you won’t be sorry.
