The pail itself is of good quality however if you want a tight sitting lid this is not your pail. The lid does not sit securely on top, shifts and falls off. I would not trust transporting milk from barn to house in it, I filter the milk in jars before leaving the barn.

Very nice quality bucket which we’re using to hold our dog’s doo doo bags until garbage day. I had to modify the bucket by epoxying in some stainless steel brackets and magnets to hold the lid on which worked well. The lid as delivered is very loose and would slip off when bumped slightly or with a little wind. With the magnets it stays on tightly and is easy to remove when necessary.I like the product and the material it is made from very much. The lid isn’t useable without modification.

Bought this to hold poo bags after dog walks. It’s the perfect size and I like that the lid comes off easily so I don’t have to mess around with it while also holding my dog.

Perfect for milking goats! Will hold milk of one or two. Very light but feels substantial and well made. No seams to trap milk residue. Stable sitting on the milk stand. Lid is perfect to keep insects etc out while putting up your goat or carrying inside. Highly recommended!

My MIL had this bucket for compost and I had to get one for myself. The lid is easy to remove with one hand which is important because, of course, your other hand is holding an apple core, or used tea bag, etc. And yet, the lid covers the bucket well enough to keep odors inside. It cleans up well and looks nice enough to sit on my counter where it's ready for use. Love it!

Perfect for my small composting requirements. Looks good sitting on the counter. While the lid is not a tight fit, it works fine for my purposes, as I didn't want to deal with charcoal filters.
