It holds milk, and then the milk gets steamed.... so it does its main job. However, there are a few things that bug me. Mine didn't include that fancy little metal stick as pictured. It was just the pitcher in the box. My other main gripe is that the handle, after having used it 3 times in 3 days, was loose. Not to the point where I am worried about it breaking off immediately, but it wiggles. This is an obvious sign of poor craftsmanship which is the first step towards total failure. It is now just a matter of time. But, it isn't all bad! I like that it has the measurements on the inside... though it can be hard to read those if the lighting isn't 100% ideal. A cut out window that allows light to enter and also allows you to see the contents from the outside would make for a more practical way to see the measurements. Also, the handle is not made of wood, thankfully. It is a synthetic rubberized material that is soft to the touch and has a nice grip against the skin. Overall, it's a great pitcher (if you can catch it on sale).

This pitcher has a comfortable wooden handle that doesn't get too hot and lets you heat the milk directly on a stove, making a workflow with a whisk or nanofoamer more tolerable for those without a dishwasher (no need for separate heating vessel and washing it afterwards)Correction: Handle is not wooden, it's plastic. Don't turn up stove gas too high, mine melted a bit. Still holds fine, though

I’m not sure why more frothing pictures don’t have a soft handle. This one says it’s wood but it is more of a rubbish feel. Super comfortable perfect size for a 16 ounce latte.
