Bought this because I didn't want to buy the regular prong collar for my dog. This does exactly what I bought it for, which is be gentle, but turns out is not effective for my dog so I had to buy an actual prong collar. Removing/adding prongs is a little difficult as well. Overall not bad, it was a sturdy item, just wasn't effective as I hoped it would be.

If you have a very stubborn dog, like I have, these don't work. I had to go back to the normal prong/pinch collar. These are just like a normal martingale collar. My dog needs to feel some discomfort in order to change his stubborn attitude. If your dog responds to a regular martingale, then this one will work for you. I sure wish my dog did respond.

Reviews were kind of mixed, so I decided to give it a try. It was definitely affordable, which drew me to it more than others… But I guess you get what you pay for. I wanted to love it so much but when I would take it on and off, the chain links would fall apart every single time it was like a constant mind puzzle of how to put the links back together. It didn’t seem like a collar to leave on all the time.Overall, just frustrated with the product. Maybe I am using it wrong? But it did not come with any instructions.

I use pinch collars all the time for my dogs, they are a fantastic tool when properly used! I saw this design with the curved prongs and I thought it might be a good design for more comfort for my dog and it seems to work just as good as a regular pinch.Highly recommend if you're looking for a switch

The adjustable design makes it easy to get a perfect fit, and the swivel ring prevents tangling. The collar has helped my dog learn to walk on a loose leash much faster. While it may look intimidating, it's actually very gentle when used correctly. I highly recommend this collar for anyone struggling with leash pulling or other behavioral issues.

A friend recommend I purchase this pinch collar to alleviate trouble with a headstrong pitbull we rescued.It worked extremely fast!We only needed to use it for about a week to get the dog on track. Her behavior changed literally overnight. Walks have now been enjoyable, for both of us.The collar is made of solid stainless steel. It’s extremely durable and held up amazingly well to the pulling of a very strong dog. I’m sure it will last for years to come.Also Hooked on to her leash easily, just as any other collar would.Well worth the price

Overall, this is a sturdily-made prong dog collar, flexible in design but a bit awkward to actually put on my dog. The design of this collar uses links that are in a triangular shape with more of a rounded edge than the traditional collars with more wire point type prongs.I like it overall, and I think the price is reasonable, but its design of the links require a bit of fidgeting to be able to securely attach to my dog's neck. On the hook loops, one side is relatively strait 90 degree angle, while the second side is slightly angled towards the middle to allow the links to be added or removed. This is also the mechanism used to "lock" the collar when placing on dog's neck, so it requires a lot of fuss to be able to lock it securely when the dog is not cooperating or is excited to go walk.The other aspect that I am a bit suspicious of is the triangle design used. I do not believe that it is as effective as the traditional wire point prongs.So in summary, it is good for the money and well constructed, and in the hands of an experienced dog trainer this would likely work well to help your puppy become a cooperating walker.
