I ordered these to hold various tools in my newly-created coffee bar. I must say that they are bigger than they appear in the pictures on the item description. The seller did include a picture with dimensions but I ordered them without paying much attention. My best recommendation is to measure before you order these to make sure these will work for you and your planned application. Also, the material is definitely not stainless steel (I won't attempt to guess what they're actually made of). They are super light, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I'm sure they would dent very easily if (or when) they are dropped. The build quality is OK, mine didn't have any dents or dings in them when they arrived, but I did take a star off since I was expecting a stronger, more durable construction. I also took a star off because they are definitely not stainless steel, as mentioned in the product description.

My house is going through a complete renovation. My new kitchen will have a coffee bar. These caught my eye and I wanted to place them on the coffee bar for my guests. Dislike when people stir coffee and lay the spoon on a counter . Over time this creates a coffee stain.I was not impressed with the quality of these straw holders/coffee sticks. Extremely thin material. I'm horrified to think what will happen to one of them if I ever drop one onto my tile floor. There are many gaps where the top meets the bottom. For the price of $11 each + tax, I must say I was expecting a higher quality. My opinion only, a better price point for what I received would be $10 for both. No where near commercial quality. I bartended my way through college, these holders wouldn't have lasted a month on my bar with my rowdy customers. I do believe they will be good for my residential needs however, they are over priced!!! 3 stars.

These are high quality straw holders, and you get two of them with this purchase! It just so appens that I needed two - I have one of these in my kitches, as well as at my business. They have a good sized diameter, and are designed not to tip over. If you need a straw holder (or a holder for other items as well) these are a great option.

These are nice and shiny, but I think they are priced a little to high currently. From the outside it looks good, from the inside it looks like some kind of high school craft project. I guess you're not looking at it from the outside though, once it's full of stuff, huh?Well, I used to work in a restaurant, for years, and stainless steel was king but we didn't have anything this flimsy. it would have gotten beaten up pretty good. If you can keep a close eye on this thing, you can keep it nice and dentless. Also of note, one of the other reviewers claimed this was aluminum because it was not magnetic. That is not true. Stainless steel can be magnetic or not, depending on its composition. A simple Google search will prove this for you.

I'm already using both of these holders! One is slightly larger but they work for my straws. I'm using one for glass straws and one for reusable plastic straws. They work for both!

Purchased to house my chopsticks and straws. One container has a slightly larger capacity than the other, which suits my needs perfectly. The aesthetics of the steel pairs well with my other kitchen gadgets. The metal is sturdy, but thin and light. The finish is shiny, so I would recommend either hand washing and drying right away or using window cleaner with a microfiber cloth for touch ups.

I definitely feel like I have had coffee cans from the supermarket that are sturdier than these. I was having difficulty photographing due to the reflection, so I tried putting a tissue on the bottom so you all don't see my cellphone, and I pushed the tissue down there and bottom popped. There's gaps when you look down there, sloppy workmanship. Fingerprints all over it. I'm pretty certain in my state, this wouldn't be appropriate for a restaurant because debris can collect in those gaps - and then you put straws in there, silverware??
