Not for every day embossing. Not for thin fonts. This powder is chunky with other colors mixed in and is perfect for halloween or pirate or other special projects, thick sentiments, etc. Begin by heating your embossing gun very hot, then heat the powder from underneath to get started. Finish heating from top. I have several of the AGED embossing powders from Stampendous. I use the taupe color for sandy texture (beachy) because of the course grain and flecks of gold. The AGED ivory is wonderful for antiqued shabby chic look.

"Powder" is very clumpy compared to regular embossing powder and heating from underneath can cause it to run a bit, it's a cool idea but I don't think with how clumpy it is and then with the giant flecks of copper and silver make it looked "aged" it just looks like melted metals.. might be cool for certain projects but did not look right for an aged map project.
