I was surprised how heavy this plate is. It's definitely pretty awesome to use. We don't have a grill for this but instead we plan to throw it on top of our small bbq. Quite awesome to use. It isn't cast iron, even though it has the weight of it. Still, pretty awesome, and has a drain port.

Okay…first things first! Top surface is well supported underneath with angle iron tacked in place. All welds seem good. Surface is ceramic coated…perfect for non stick and non rust! The instructions indicate that silicon or non-metal tools and spatulas need to be used to protect the ceramic surface! The top does have a slight (very slight ripple) from the welds on the angle iron but it doesn’t interfere with frying bacon or flipping eggs, especially if you’re using a nice flipper! I’m not worried about this very slight rippling effect! It totally doesn’t interfere with cooking! The back has holes for attaching. I am using this griddle on my regular bbq so I can’t comment on their exact fit but I included photos with measurements. Includes bolts as well. Holes measure centre to centre …. 16 inches by 10 inches exactly! 16 inches (width ways) and 10 inches (depth or say front to back). Bolts are 3/8 inch diameter. Hope that helps for sizing! The instructions also explain that this Stanbroil 17 inch griddle needs to heat up first on low to medium heat to allow extra time for the metal to expand. I would think 250 - 400 degrees Celsius would be appropriate for the ceramic top. I wouldn’t advise much hotter anyways - but I think giving it extra time to get there will prevent any warping and will greatly extend the life of the non-stick ceramic surface! Also, using non-scratching tools and utensils is very important as the instructions from Stanbroil points out! It’s a nice griddle top and offered for a very reasonable price in my opinion!

So overall I like this grill. I am not using it on a blackstone, I have a two burner camp stove that I ordered previously and this sits nicely on top of it. I like the fact that it is ceramic, it is easy to clean. The major flaw I found, and which is why I gave it a four instead of a five was that the welds on the bars on the bottom side of it, have warped the top side. When you run your hand along the grill from front to back, there are waves in the grill where each of the heat sinks have been welded on. This makes it harder to scoop things up with the spatula.

I have used this product twice and the bottom angle iron support in the center came loose. All the welds are broken And this cannot be repaired because it will damage the Teflon coating

I haven't cooked on it yet as I'm not sure I've seasoned it right. I followed the instructions and was expecting to be a lot more consistent, but got a blotchy effect instead. Is that correct?

Was really hoping this was going to work out but it does not fit the stand alone 17" Blackstone griddle with the lid. When the lid is closed about an inch of the stainless griddle sticks out in the front allowing the heat to escape and heating up the lid handle to dangerous levels. So hot that when I installed it (and there is only one way to attach the lid to the griddle) and turned on the heat for 5 mins or so to burn off the oil it is coated with, I grabbed the handle and burned my hand. It wouldn't have been hard to make this replacement griddle the exact same size as the cast iron original griddle that came with the Blackstone, but, alas, it's too long. Do not buy this. It is a dangerous aftermarket griddle. Returning it this week.

I have the model 1859 with the 17” griddle and side burner with deep fryer. Originally the photos shown with this product shown my exact griddle with a green check mark which indicated to me that I wouldn’t have a problem with this. As you can see by the photos I attached it did not. However, I contacted the seller and they immediately made a change to their product description and offered me a full refund. Although I’m disappointed that the original product description was incorrect, I applaud Stan Broil for taking immediate action to correct their product description so others wouldn’t be disappointed.

5 stats for quality 2 stars for fit I bought this to replace my old flat top with is a 17 inch Blackstone adventure the description said it does fit the Blackstone adventure it doesn't the little adjustment feet on the bottom is off by an inch or more so the main body has to be modified the lid did not line up either I had to drill new holes the grease drian hole is very small so food partials clog it up a lot so in all if you can or are willing to do some modification this flat top is decent

Be sure to read the product description!!! This is NOT a Blackstone/cast iron griddle. This is a ceramic coated steel griddle. You will need to "use non-metal utensils such as silicone, plastic, or wooden utensils. Never use sharp items on it" as per the description. So be very aware that your cooking style will need to be adjusted if you switch to this griddle top. No metal tools or scraping.I do like the grease trough along the long back end. It gets most of the excess oil off of the cooking surface a bit faster than just using the small grease hole on a regular Blackstone. As long as you are aware that this isn't a "Blackstone" replacement, but instead a close cousin you won't be disappointed.

I leave my Blackstone outside and use it camping so it gets very dirty and rusty. I've seasoned it with several layers but still rust and gets covered in road grime. This new top fit perfectly. It is thick metal, not cheap or flimsy. Seems to cook very even. I'm very happy with the quality. Hopefully it doesn't rust. A magnet will stick to it. I tried it out with some bacon like any good American would do.
