I had an 04 Mustang cluster light problem check every wire fuse ground wire. Nothing worked so I decided to change out. This particular headlight switch that controls the dimmer and it worked perfect.

The switch itself seems like it is a quality unit, but it does not work in my 2000 Mustang due to the retaining mount nut not screwing in far enough. I am not sure if the treads were not ran all the way to the top, or if the they are a little over size. Either way the retaining nut will not tighten enough to keep the switch in place. I ended up getting part number DS531 locally and it fit perfectly. You can get the same unit here on Amazon, so save yourself the hassle and just get the other unit to start with.

Knowing that the gauges on my 2004 Ford E450 were working and my dash light would not come on. I knew it was the light switch itself. It fix the problem. Great product.

I am not happy with the product. It is noisy when I adjust my instrument panel lights. It does not make a clicking sound when the dome light is turned on or off. It is the first item that I have ever bought through Amazon, that I should return, but it is not worth the trouble to return it. My advice is, spend more money to get a better product.

Well made switch with crisp operation. Excellent product for the price. Not a OEM product but a perfect replacement at a fraction of the cost.

it works great. cheap, and super easy to install, it only took 20 minutes. it saved me a lot, compared to going to a mechanic.
