This part showed did not fit my 1969 Pontiac Catalina showed it would fit, but did not. I also have a duplicate that I did not get shipped back.

The hose from the manifold to air cleaner for the preheat valve has been missing since I bought the truck. Never mattered as the valve is pop riveted to remain open but I wanted the factory look. This fit perfectly and looks like it is original. It’s those little details that matter the most.

Part is probably better for another vehicle but it did not work while trying to connect my carb breather. Part did come fast

Even though Amazon says it fits my 1984 Corolla they are mistaken. The item is to small.

After 25 years my original pre-heater hose loosened and one day when I looked was just gone. This hose was for the right size but I wasn't sure if it would fit on tightly or require a clamp to keep it in place, but it twisted onto the air filter housing snugly holding it in place without a clamp, and I could easily shape it to connect to the exhaust manifold cover. So far so good after one month.

Used as an air pre heater hose on a 1980 Datsun 720:I measured the aperture diameter on the air intake stub and the exhaust cover steel plate where the hot air was recovered:1.5" exactly, each. This hose is rated 1.5" .. Exactly.I imagined it might be able to stretch a little as it had to fit the outside diameter-It did not- although indeed the hose can be extended in length, there is little or no 'give' in diameter,so, not a little finagling and metal snipping was required, I formed a secure link with no air leak only by pressing some aluminum duct foilinto service then using hose clamps to hold it in place (Remember also it has to withstand some heat)- Not faulting the Product so much as a warning about how to use it- On the Plus side-The tubing took considerable poking and pulling without tearing or crimping- Relatively sturdy stuff..
