I installed this proudly made Chinese part thinking the higher price and reputable "Standard" name would make a difference. Wrong. Part worked as it should for ten days exactly and stopped holding pressure. I can't advise which fuel pump/regulator company to trust as they all seem to sell crap so you may as well buy the cheapest one available. It appears they are all the same product with different labels and prices. Shame on Standard, I always thought they were better.

The regulator came well packet with the clamp, o-rings and gaskets so that it fixed the gas leak of my Jeep Wrangler TJ 2002 4.0L because of an broken old rubber o-ring, BUT the pressure regulator does not hold the pressure - which is the main purpose of it.After replacing my old regulator my Jeep now needs 2-4 cranks till it starts up, which means I have to replace it again. I went with this more expensive pressure regulator to avoid exactly that issue, but ran into the same problem as one of the other reviewers. I'll try a Delphi next instead, which is even more expensive, and hope for the best.

Bought this after a gas tank strap broke on my jeep and the fuel line broke loose from the old one. New regulator install was pretty easy but this new one let's the gas drain back so I have to start it with a couple of short crank sequences.

My Jeep started having problems starting, it would take a few extra cranks to fire up. Once running, it was OK, so after a bit of easy research on the Internet I put it down to a failed anti-drainback valve (another name for this part). The swap out was easy, but i was nervous at popping the part off the tank, as it took a LOT of force with two screwdrivers. I was sure something might break, but it was just the orings that held on tight. Also, be careful not to damage the dust seal as you remove the old valve, you'll need to reuse the seal. When putting the new valve on, remember to push it hard and get it to pop into place. On, by the way, it doesn't come with the metal strap (as shown in the pic), but the one you take off works just fine. Finally, the price was way cheaper on Amazon than anywhere else for exactly the same part !!!

Great price on a quality non- OEM replacement part. Commonly solves crank no start issues on Wrangler TJ's after sitting. The master check valve for fuel drain back is in here. Once the tank is down, it's a 30 second swap, they even pre-install the o-rings on here for you.

It was the correct part and installed fine. However, it should have included a new gasket to use between the regulator and tank.

My 2005 Wrangler hesitated when starting and replacing the fuel pressure regulator with this solved the problem. I don't know what else to say, this is nearly identical to the OEM unit it replaced.
