FYI to anybody searching for and finding that every big box store pressure switch isn't compatible with your Outback/Subaru—this worked well for my 2008 Outback 2.5i Limited. The hex/wrench size (18mm) is different from the stock 17mm hex, but a minor issue for a (so far) solid fix.

If you accidentally break the power steering pressure switch the replacement part number is PSS27. it is available or can be ordered at most autoparts stores as well as amazon. It took a lot of digging to find this part number and I want to share the info for anyone who needs it Worked great for my 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX and saved my from having to by whole power steering pump assembly
