Replacement for an original 1997 Ford Ranger starter bendix. Nothing wrong with the motor, just the bendix was dragging, and yes I prefer the 15 year old OEM starter over some pinche heche in chine aftermarket replacement.Total start to finish time to r/r this bendix on a 4 cylinder 2WD ranger, about 45 minutes.Brushes and bushings were still fine @ 190K miles.Some things just last and last.
