I bought this for a 2003 Honda Accord. Direct fit and works flawlessly. My original brake light switch wouldn’t work every time. Wouldn’t unlock shifter or illuminate brake lights at times.

Fit perfect for my 2007 Honda Civic. Easy install though you might find it kind it a squeeze to get below steering wheel if you are a heavier person.

I installed this in my 2003 Accord EX-L in under an hour. It fixed the transmission lock problem that I'd been experiencing. If you install it yourself, please note that you need to use the nut that comes with it, as this is different than that originally on the car, and that you may need to adjust this to the proper depth in order for it to work properly. Adjustments are easily done by turning the nut 1/4 turn counterclockwise, moving the shaft of the switch in or out, as needed, and then turning the nut clockwise 1/4 turn to lock. Very inexpensive solution to a rather nasty problem. Recommended.
