Went through 2 of these on a 2017 2500 before I realized what was going on. The voltage sweep is backwards from the oem sensor. Had problems with re-learning and abs initialization. Kept getting brake pedal stuck code C0040-2A. These need pulled off the market because they don’t work. Replaced it with an oem mopar sensor and all good to go. As an ASE master tech I try to advise my customers of certain electronics, but cheaper prices make it very enticing. Please beware of this one. It may lead you on an unnecessary witchhunt.

While Amazon states it is compatible with a 2014 RAM 1500, it is not. This switch activates the brake lights when the brake pedal is not pressed and deactivates the brake lights when the brake pedal is pressed.

Switch keeps the breaker lights on and it's not adjustable.

I bought a brake switch for my 2016 Dodge Ram. The part was so defective that it disabled the gear shifting so I was left on the side of the road with hundreds of dollars in towing and body shop bills. These people don’t deserve any business and I’ll never make that mistake again.

This breaklight switch worked and was very easy to install although it did not fix the problem with my 2019 JGC. Turns out there’s a recall on the ABS brake system which was causing the brake lights to stay on. The brake lights will turn off by themselves after a few minutes of driving. Subsequently the cruise control doesn’t work until you get the ABS system replaced. Hope this review helps others in the same situation.

Never even got to check the switch. Cheap crap came apart while installing in the bracket!

Installed in our 2017 Ram same day got engine light on dash thought something wrong with engine but showed that stop switch stuck went to put old one back in and new one fell apart !!
