Remove the old one carefully so you don’t break it. Use penetrating oil the day before and it will help.This part was a perfect replacement..

my pcv valve was way overdue. over 200k miles on the original, and it was 75% plugged.took less than 5 minutes to install, and fuel mileage increased almost 2 mpg! yeah its blue, and not black like the original, but that just makes it easier to locate.

Simple install. remove air filter box and plastic cover that sits over your throttle body. Will probably need pliers to get old one removed by twisting it. Just pop new one in and twist to lock it in.

Perfect fit for my 2008 Ram 1500 5.7L. Mine was a bit snug coming off and on, but a pair of channel lock pliers made it easy. Just be sure to use caution and not break it. Note that it's only 1/4 turn for removal. I also used a thin film of oil on the seal during installation.

This valve is blue, which wasn't specified in the listing. Kind of clashes with my black/red engine bay theme, but that's a minor gripe to say the least. Works as advertised.
