Designed with packability in mind. It does this but is still big enough to be functional.

I really like this product. It is quite small and easy to carry around. It also provides peace of mind while traveling in other countries. I recommand

The net is great but on the picture they make it appear like it’s a tent (like there is something at the bottom) but there is nothing

bought these a few years ago for boys summer camp. They did not work well at all. They were so snug to the cot and my son and husband are both 6 feet tall that they both still got bitten by mosquitos. We had to go to a more roomy type of netting last year. These might work well for small children or people who do not touch the netting.

This is a good standard mosquito net. It sort of tears easily. But It was never a problem for me. If you want close and compact, this is perfect. If you want something more spacious, get one with a large ring at the top or one that hangs from more hooks. If you want one that doesn't tear as easily look for the double layer mosquito nets.

Way tooooooo small... And it has several small dead bugs hanging on the net! I cannot find any "used" word for it on the item description page -- who can do me a favor and tell me why a new mosquito net has several bugs on it! Another thing is its quality. Small green patches are spread all over the net, which makes me think if there's any hole on it that's why I can see them... It may be the fact that I am the unlucky one, hope you friend will find something good.

Great value in a moz net, just didn't work for my particular purpose (tried to rig it for a hammock). It's tough and lightweight. There are wraparound panels to slide under your pad or sleeping bag. It's easy to see out of and doesn't heat up too much. As others have mentioned, you need something overhead to suspend it from.

I just got back from Guatemala and had to use this mosquito net. It worked great for me. I was pretty nervous because of reviews but I decided to buy a tarp from Walmart for $4 and attached it to the net. I slept on the floor in a building where there were tons of bugs and didn't get bit once. Other people that went with me had other nets and theirs let bugs in more. Needless to say they wanted mine and kept asking where I got it from. The main issue I had was that it's not long enough. I'm 5'6 and my feet hung out so if you're taller than that I'd imagine you'd want a different one. There's plenty of side room to tuck under. If you get it I'd suggest to treat it with Permetherin too.

This is a wonderful net if you know how to use it. I use it under a tarp when I sleep on the ground (on a pad). It has a stake loop on each corner, and a hanging loop just off center (long ways). Hang this from your ridgeline (or a tarp clip if in a lean-to) where this loop will be directly above your chest. Then, stake out the corners (you must use a cheap ground cloth that you don't mind poking a stick thru). To get in and out: pull one stake, shimmy in feet first, and then replace the stake once you are settled in. It only touches your toes if you hang it at the right height, and stake it out correctly (I'm 5'10"). I see a lot of negative reviews here, but am sure they are all due to operator error. This is not intended to use over a cot or mattress...it's for backpacking and again, when used properly it is an awesome product. Light as a feather, too.

Bought this to go to Haiti to help build (rebuild) houses. Fortunately when during the time we were there we did not see any mosquitos. Left it on the cot during the day to keep out any critters or bugs that might want to wander in to the bedding. Only problem is that it blocks most of the air flow, so at night did not use it. It is very small and compact, and I assume thta due to the tight weave of the netting it would keep mosquitos out hence the top rating.

I found the netting to be both light and sturdy, and even the small mosquitoes had no chance of getting in. (I saw them trying.) The netting didn't tear on the couple of occasions I caught something on it. Which gets to "Key is how you set it up."I purposefully bought a double-size thinking it would give me more room, but I was in a relatively low shelter and the single suspension point of the netting made this rather claustrophobic. I had to spend some periods of time during the day under it. And if one happens to catch a button on it or lean against taut netting when shifting around, it will very easily untuck from between a plastic ground tarp and plastic mattress -- and then get all twisted up. I tried taping and clothespinning up some additional contact points with with shelter, to "build it out" -- this might work with the right tape, but not for me. And clothes pins didn't hold, either.I give it 4 stars because it seems well constructed, and my problems could have been due to my being an inexperienced camper, but can't give a 5 because there were some very frustrating moments! I think the more "boxy" design with multiple ties might be better if you can set up shelter with two overhead cords or other ways to get that set up!
