Leaking coolant all over engine block. Im very mechanically inclined been working on cars for years so I am sure I put it in right.. the gasket is too thick just junk.

I was having a problem with my 2000 Neon overheating when the car was idling. After doing some research I narrowed it down to a probable bad thermostat. I was able to swap this one in for my old one and it was an exact match. The whole repair took me ~10 minutes. The car started up normally and I let it idle for a good 30 minutes and the temperature indicator never got too high. I also found that the fan was cutting and off normally. This part did exactly what it was supposed to do and there were no issues whatsoever, I'm very happy with this purchase.
