I thought it have a top but it does not which is odd, why will not come with a top !?? just seems like a common sense thing to come with. I bought it to make ice which it mention it does, so why not top. The stars are cute but not having a top make me have to be careful and not getting some cute stars shape

This mold works just as it is advertised. I used it for chocolate and had perfect stars nearly every time. It's easy to remove the stars without them breaking. A breeze to clean, too.

I bought this mold to use making chocolate stars for my son-in-laws air force themed cake. I melted some coconut oil and brushed into the mold, melted white chocolate candy melts and slowly poured into each star shape. I let the mold refrigerate for 45 minutes, give or take. The stars popped right out and looked perfect. The size of each star for reference is about a quarter.

I’m disappointed with this mold. It’s much thinner than the two that I purchased from this same company in August of 2020. I intentionally purchased it from the same company thinking I would get the same quality product. Unfortunately that didn’t happen.

I used this to make chocolates for a birthday theme and they came out grear, chocolate and a lil bit of coconut oil help it settle and have a smooth finish , stars are about the size of a quater

Candy melts pop out perfectly after a short time in the freezer (10 min?). I tapped the tray lightly on the counter top to get out the bubbles. Top rack dishwasher cleans it perfectly. I assume you’ll want the tray perfectly dry before you pour melts in. Melt candy to package directions. Extra candy melts can be popped out and put in fridge and are good forever. Brushed rice crispy treats with melted white candy melts before “starring and striping” them.
