Two 0.75 inch thick hard felts at the top of the cymbal stand are used to fix the cymbal. Really flimsy construction but holds my cymbal. Definitely not made to gig with but works as a stationary stand in my music room. You get what you pay for and it's definitely not up to snuff with my professional Gibraltar hardware.

Been playing for 45 yrs. Still doing it. Out 2/3 nights a week gettn it on!Single brace.; light weight= important. Stable=yup. Previous reviews about sturdiness or "only for splash cym"=nonsense. What you play with baseball bats?I don't swing cymvals out 15 ft so not pushing the envelope there.Yes, I glued the rubber boots in, big deal use your brain, but fix that guys!Yes the tilt has teeth, so if impeccable microscopice perfect tilt is for you, then spend a cpl $hundred more elsewhere. Follow that?Its good quality material FOR THE PRICE and 4/7 lbs less of my trap case is just fine by me. Ay my age, best I could ask for.. hope this helps!

Great cymbal stands. Very sturdy. Great design. Also super light weight for what it is. They are also straight stands with little adjustment. Will buy more once I get more cymbals

I am happy with this purchase. I would not take it on tour but for home/pub use and set up - no problem! Stable, tightens well... and stays there!
